VPEast is dedicated to alternative Art+Design culture focusing primarily in the East Coast of the U.S. and beyond.  We put a strong emphasis on Designer Toy culture and Lowbrow Art as well as the Street and Graffiti Art worlds, but will cover a wide range of topics. We want to give you a fresh take on everyday news.

VPEast is the east coast edition of Vinylpulse.com, the largest Designer Toys news site on the web.

So the blog I am working on is official.  No secret out of the bag, but more work in the offhours!

Yes, I haven't blogged in about a month.  I'm busy with alot of behind the scenes type things lately and it's taking up my time at work and at home.  Besides, things have been pretty quiet with life though.

Well what am I working on?  Alot of art related things, actually.  You all know I had my first official curated show a month ago, which went really well.  Before that, I was helping out my friend in coordinating his group shows, and I have a few that are coming up which I'm working on, along with ironing out details for maybe two new curated shows in 2010.  Then in between that my blogging has been diverted over to a new blog launching soon that is art/toy related.

I want to thank everyone that came out Friday night to the opening of my curated gallery show.  It was good to see you all and I hope everyone had a good time, and enjoy the selection of artworks that were displayed by the artists that were chosen.  And thank you to all the artists for their great work and for putting up with my constant emails checking up on them.  Without the artists, there would have been no show!  Here are some pictures for you guys.  If you want to see all the pictures, follow the link - http://www.flickr.com/photos/myplasticheart/sets/72157616632243020/

If you still want to check it out in person, the show is open until May 10th, at myplasticheartNYC on 210 Forsyth St.
